The 16" System
The 16" System is a smaller and lighter system available in a variety of lens options, including a 20:1, 33:1, and 36:1. Being very rugged, it's ideal for all air, land or sea applications. In the '96 Olympics, it was popular for shooting on tracks and boats.

The 24" System
The 24" System is a full 3-axis stabilized system offering rock steady shots to focal lengths as high as 550mm. It is most commonly used on helicopters, although the WESCAM 24DB provided spectacular footage on boats and track systems in the Barcelona Olympics. Considered the workhorse of the WESCAM™ systems, this unit is excellent for sports coverage but is also used extensively on TV specials, commercials and music and corporate videos, mounting to airships, boats, cranes and ground vehicles.
